Sava had always been a cheerful, happy girl who played tennis and loved doing gymnastics. But, one day, when she was 17, she put down her racket and wistfully said to her friend, "I want to try something different--where I can feel like I'm flying, but I don't know what that could be."
Her friend thought and thought and finally said, " Aha! I know what, my sister is in an ice skating match, why don't you come and see if you'd like to skate?"
Sava was a spirited young lady and yearned to be wild and free, so when she saw the skaters seemingly escape gravity by leapng through the air, her heart thumped and her eyes opened wide in disbelief--this was it! She almost knocked her friend over with a big hug of gratitude.
Sava immediately knew ice skating was what she had been looking for--she dreamt of flying through the air and doing triple spins before suddenly returning to earth, landing on thin silver blades in a shower of icy sparks that flew around her.
It had all seemed impossible, like it was magic, but after much practice, Sava became a world-renowned ice skater and even managed a triple-quadruple spin to the amazement of all.
The next day, the newspaper headline read
